If you ever read "Mari-chan" manga series, there're a lot of dance performance called "Giselle". I'm not sure what she is (or the story about). But, what I think Giselle is spirit of the woods.
-- So, I came out with this again with a little more change of colors. It looks more softy than the original one >>> [link]
I like them both (that's why I uploaded both of them). I can't decide which one is better, maybe you can tell me which one do you like better. I just wanna know what people think then I can decide which one is better.

There's something magical about Giselle by ~Leaf-19, that taps into every girl's inner princess. (

Actually, "Giselle" is an 1841 tragic romantic ballet. It's the story of a pretty young village maiden who falls in love with a village squire named "Loys", who is actually the nobleman Albrecht in disguise. He is supposed to marry a neighboring princess but does not want this life. So he goes to the village in disguise and falls in love with Giselle. The local gamekeeper, also in love with Giselle, does not want Albrecht to be with her, so he plots to expose the nobleman before anything else can happen. When it's learned that "Loys" and Giselle are to marry and celebrations are running through the Harvest Feast, the gamekeeper exposes Albrecht and the truth to Giselle. Although Giselle takes Albrecht's sword to commit suicide, she dies of a broken weak heart. Giselle is technically not a spirit of the forest but a tormented soul. There are evil mythical spirit fairies called the Wilis, jilted maidens who die before their wedding day, led by Myrtha, the Queen. These spirits force innocent men or hunters who wander into the woods to dance until they die. When both Albrecht and the gamekeeper go to the forest at night to visit Giselle's grave, the Wilis force the gamekeeper to dance, but he throws himself over the cliff to avoid the fate. Albrecht is also forced to dance, but Giselle, who realized Albrecht only wanted to marry her because he wanted a better life and to make her happy, forgives him and her love for him saves him from the Wilis. Daybreak comes and the Wilis retreat to their graves, and she is freed from any association with the Wilis, returning to her own to rest in peace. Wow. I pretty much told you the whole story. Sorry. I like the drawing anyway. It's a lovely ballet, and the music and dancing is beautiful. I love her character, and I love her dress in this picture.
Sorry for that long explanation. I have a tendency to go on and on and on about numerous ballets and operas that others draw about, if they post that they don't now much about the story. I'm trying to make it as a "long story short" nowadays, but I still fight that urge. Anyway, I still love the picture; I think it's really pretty.
